Konya Obruk Hand Woven Rug
56.6 in x 72.2 in
It was woven 90 years ago in Obruk Village of Konya Province in the Central Anatolia Region. It is wool on wool spun with kirman. Green, red, dark blue colours are seen. Wool can only be coloured with root dyes. There are ram horns, eyes and fertility symbols. In the centre of the lower border of the rug is the mark of the person who wove the rug. This is rare and adds value to your rug. Due to differences in light during the photographing of the products, there may be differences in colour tones between the photograph and the actual product.
