               It was woven 60-70 years ago in Kayseri in the Central Anatolia Region with Turkish knots using scattered flower patterns.The weft and warp are made of cotton, the knots are made of wool yarn.You can compare the scattered patterned carpets to the flowers blooming in spring.The red color dominates throughout the carpet.It is colored with herbal and root dyes.The value of Kayseri carpets increases as they are used.The motifs used are similar to the motifs used in tiles, marble, carving and illumination.
