Fine Hand-Woven Kazakh Striped Rug
190 cm x 291 cm / 6'3'' x 9'7''
This kilim, woven in Central Asia, is crafted from wool spun with a spindle. Approximately 60-70 years ago, it was entirely coloured using vegetable and root dyes, featuring traditional Kazakh geometric patterns. Such a piece not only reflects the artistry of Kazakh weaving traditions but also holds rare and collectible value due to its historical and cultural significance. Its fine weave and elegant details make it a stylish and harmonious decorative element when used as a floor covering, wall decoration, or draped over furniture in both classic and modern settings.
