     This distinctive pouf is crafted from an original Bodrum Bosu kilim, a characteristic textile from Turkey’s Aegean region. Known for its horizontal stripes and vibrant tonal transitions, this type of weaving is produced on traditional narrow looms specific to Bodrum. The top is dominated by rich burgundy tones, while the sides feature handwoven striped fragments from various Anatolian villages.

     The colours are derived using entirely natural dyeing methods, including plant-based sources like walnut husk, madder root, and oak gall. The base is made of cotton fabric and includes a concealed zip fastening. The inner filling is included with the item.

     More than just a seat, this pouf is a piece of living cultural heritage. Its motifs reflect themes such as love, abundance, and protection from the evil eye—symbols deeply rooted in Anatolian tradition.
