East Anatolia Kars Rug

Woven 60-70 years ago in Kars Province in the East Anatolia Region, this rug is made entirely of wool yarns and colored with natural dyes. Typically, brown is used on the ground. Colors include orange, pink, red, blue, yellow and cream. It is larger than 10 m² and is of rare size. The patterns and symbols on it are influenced by the neighboring Caucasus region.

Due to differences in light during the photographing of the products, there may be differences in color tones between the photograph and the actual product. Some products may have been stored in chests for many years without being used, while some products may have been used. Some parts of the products may have undergone minor repairs over the years, while some parts have not been touched in order not to disturb the originality.
