It was woven 20-30 years ago in the villages of Bodrum in Mugla province in West Anatolia. It is called Bodrum Empty rug because of its empty centre. It is made entirely of woollen yarns. Red colour is used on the ground and green, yellow and dark blue colours are used on the borders. Colouring in the region is made from natural materials and lake mud.
Due to differences in light during the photographing of the products, there may be differences in colour tones between the photograph and the actual product. Some products may have been stored in chests for many years without being used, while some products may have been used. Some parts of the products may have undergone minor repairs over the years, while some parts have not been touched in order not to spoil the originality. We have tried to reflect such situations as much as possible in the pictures. Please pay attention to these small details when purchasing your product.
