It was woven in Bodrum in the Aegean Region 30-40 years ago from wool yarns spun with Kirman. It is coloured with root dyes specific to the region. The main colour of Bodrum Kilims is usually red.The blue colour is rarely used as in this rug.The blue colour represents the sea of Bodrum. The pattern in the middle comes from the crane birds flying one after the other. As in this rug, there are finger patterns on the borders of Bodrum rugs. It harmonises with every decoration including the children's room. It is a soft rug.
