     This distinctive village kilim is a handmade piece reflecting the traditional weaving heritage of Balıkesir. Crafted on handlooms using natural wool yarns, it is approximately 20 to 30 years old. The bold contrast of red and green dominates the design, while the geometric motifs along the borders symbolise the humble yet meaningful aspects of rural Anatolian life.

     The central field of the kilim features a unique composition of wave-like green and blue transitions, evoking the calmness of water and the spirit of Anatolian craftsmanship. The wool yarns used were hand-spun and dyed using natural methods, making this piece both eco-   friendly and safe for everyday living.

     With its medium size, this kilim is ideal for various spaces such as living rooms, beneath dining tables, or even as a decorative wall hanging. It adds a striking accent, especially in homes furnished with natural materials.
