Handwoven Vintage Eastern Anatolian Striped Kilim
200 cm × 320 cm / 6'6" × 10'6"
This large-scale handwoven kilim was produced approximately 80 to 90 years ago in Kurdish villages of the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkiye. It was woven on primitive looms using 100% natural wool yarns, and the wool has not been dyed, preserving its original colour and texture.
Over time, this kilim has developed visible signs of use. Surface wear, relaxed fibres, and minor repairs all contribute to a sense of age and reflect the historical soul of the piece. This textile goes beyond being merely decorative — it brings cultural depth and character to any space it inhabits.
Please note: This item shows evident traces of age and use. Small repairs and areas of natural wear have been intentionally left in place to preserve the authenticity of the weave. We have done our best to reflect these details in the photographs. Kindly examine the images carefully before purchasing.
Due to variations in lighting during photography, there may be slight differences in tone between the images and the actual product. Some items have been stored unused for many years, while others have seen gentle use. In some cases, minor restorations may have been made; in others, original areas have been left untouched to retain their integrity. We have aimed to represent these details as clearly as possible in the photographs. Please take these small imperfections into consideration before making your purchase.
