Mersin Mut Protective Rug

It was woven by nomads 70-80 years ago in Mut
District of Mersin Province in South Anatolia Region. Wool yarns were used on
wool spun with Kirman. It is completely dyed with root dyes. The colours of
red, white, green, blue, yellow, orange, black are seen. There are ram horns on
black on the borders of the rug. There are yin yang symbols, wolf's mouth, and
fetter symbols in an inner section. In the middle of the rug, there are large
scorpion symbols that will protect you from wickedness. For more detailed
