Mersin Mut Rug Runner

It was woven by nomads 70-80 years ago in the Mut District of Mersin Province in the South Anatolia Region. Wool yarns were used on wool spun with Kirman. Soil colour, nile green, navy blue, yellow, grey, ivory colours are seen. On the side borders of the rug, there are symbols of goosefoot print.
