This kilim was woven 70-80 years ago using a wool yarns is an authentic piece crafted by nomads of the Western Anatolia region. It's timeless aesthetic is highlighted by rich shades of red, orange, yellow and cream, The fringes remain as they were when first taken of the loom, and the colours have been achieved using natural plant base dyes.
The traditional motifs adorning the kilim carry deep symbolic meaning rooted in Anatolian culture representing prosperity, protection from the evil eye and the strong family ties.
